The following doctrinal mastery activities could be done over the course of several class sessions or in a single class session.
What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why do we need the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Invite students to briefly discuss their responses to these questions with a partner. Invite a student to read the first paragraph aloud and another student to read the third paragraph aloud.
